It is intended solely for the removal of mucus from the lungs.It offers relief in breathing and amp; prevents respiratory tract infections.

The OPEP Aerobika* device enables the user to use it simultaneously with a nebulizer allowing for better diffusion of the inhaled aerosol medication.

How does the OPEP Aerobika oscillation device work?

By using the OPEP Aerobika* oscillation device, resistance oscillations are generated during the inhalation movement. More specifically, the user exhales through resistance, thus creating a positive pressure which allows the airflow to move towards the blocked airways and therefore keeps them open.

The uniqueness of the device lies in the combination of positive pressure with the creation of "oscillations" within the airways, removing mucus, even the thickest secretions.

Contraindications:

Use of the device is not recommended for the following conditions:

Patients who cannot tolerate increased work of breathing

Intracranial pressure (ICP) and gt; 20 mm Hg (blood pressure instability)

Recent surgery on the face, mouth or skull or trauma, acute sinusitis, epistaxis (nose bleed)

Esophageal surgery, nausea, active haemoptysis (bleeding from the lungs), untreated pneumothorax (untreated lung)

Known or suspected rupture of tympanic membrane or other middle ear pathology
